America's Cut Burgundy

Ingredients

Boneless Center Cut Pork Chops, 1-1/4 to 1-1/2-inches thick
|
|
1/4 |
teaspoon |
garlic powder
|
|

tablespoon |
olive oil
|
|
1/2 |
cup |
dry red wine
|
|
2 |
teaspoons |
lemon juice
|
|
1 |
tablespoon |
capers, drained
|
|
Directions:
Season chops lightly with lemon pepper and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil in heavy skillet until hot but not smoking. Brown chops on each side; combine wine and lemon juice and pour around chops in skillet. Cover pan tightly. Simmer gently, about 12-15 minutes.
Serve chops with reduced pan liquid and garnish with capers.
