Jell-O Strawberry Bavarian Pie

Yield:
Makes one 9-inch pie.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin
  2. 1 tablespoon sugar
  3. 1/8 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 cup boiling water
  5. 1/2 cup cold water
  6. 1 pkg. (10-ounce) Birds Eye Quick Thaw Strawberries
  7. 1 cup Birds Eye Cool Whip Non-Dairy Whipped Topping, thawed
  8. 1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled
Directions:

Dissolve Jell-O, sugar and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and frozen strawberries. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until slightly thickened. Add whipped topping; blend until smooth. ( Mixture may appear slightly curdled but will smooth out on blending. ) Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Garnsih with additional whipped topping, and mint leaves, if desired.
