Blueberry Honey Sauce

Yield:
Makes 1-1/2 cups

Delicious served warm over a bowl of ice cream

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups blueberries
  2. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  3. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  4. 1/2 cup honey
  5. 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  6. pinch of salt
Directions:

In a saucepan, combine the blueberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, butter and a pinch of salt.

Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat, then simmer, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Serve sauce warm over ice cream.
