Chocolate Marshmallow Crisps

Easy to prepare, fun to eat!

Ingredients:

  1. vegetable cooking spray
  2. 2 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
  3. 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots or raisins
  4. 1/2 cup coarsely chopped almonds
  5. 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  6. 2 tablespoons shortening
  7. 1 pkg. (11 1/2 oz. or 2 cups) milk chocolate morsels
Directions:

In 3-quart saucepan, melt chocolate and shortening over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing until well coated.

Spread mixture evenly in 8x8x2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Chill until firm.

Cut into 2x1 1/4-inch bars. Store covered in refrigerator.
