Grilled Cheese Salsa Sandwiches

Yield:
4 sandwiches

Ingredients:

  1. 4 slices cheddar cheese
  2. 8 slices wheat or white bread
  3. 1/2 cup salsa
  4. 4 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  5. 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Directions:

Spread outside of sandwiches with butter.

Place cheddar cheese slices on the inside of 4 slices of bread.

Spread each with about 2 tablespoons salsa. Top with Monterey Jack cheese slices and remaining slices of bread.

Heat 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Place sandwiches in skillet and cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
