Rice Pilaf

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  2. 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  3. 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
  4. 1/2 cup hot water
  5. 1 jar (4.5 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
  6. 1/3 cup instant rice, uncooked
  7. 1-1/2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
Directions:

In a 1 quart microwave dish, combine the onion, celery, green pepper and butter. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 3 - 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cook on high for 12 -14 minutes or until rice is tender.
