Orange Salsa

Yield:
Serves 4

Spoon it over shrimp, fish or chicken

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups orange segments, membranes removed and cut into half-inch pieces (2-3 oranges)
  2. 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
  3. 1/2 cup chopped, peeled apple or jicama
  4. 2 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper
  5. 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  6. 1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeno or other chili pepper
Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and toss to blend. Serve chilled.

It's best served the same day it's made.
