Green Bean Chestnut Bake

Yield:
6-8 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  2. 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted (10.75 oz.)
  3. 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
  4. 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  5. 2 pkgs. (16 oz.) Frozen French style green beans
  6. 1 can (2.8 oz.) French-fried onions
Directions:

In a saucepan, heat shredded cheese, soup, water chestnuts and pepper sauce, stirring until cheese is melted. Stir in beans. Transfer to an ungreased 2-quart baking dish.

Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until hot. Cover with onions. Bake an additional 5 minutes.
