Green Bean Chestnut Bake

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
  2. 1 can (10.75 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  3. 1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained
  4. 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  5. 2 packages (16 ounces each) frozen green beans
  6. 1 container (2.8 ounces) French fried onions
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

In a medium saucepan, heat soup, water chestnuts, shredded cheese and pepper sauce, stirring until cheese is melted.

Add the green beans and stir to combine.

Transfer to an ungreased 2-quart baking dish.

Bake uncovered for 20 - 30 minutes or until hot.

Remove from oven and cover with French fried onions. Bake an additional 5 minutes.
