Cream Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
  2. 1/4 cup butter or margarine, cut into pieces
  3. 2 1/2 cups self rising soft wheat flour
  4. 3/4 cup milk
Directions:

Cut cream cheese and butter into flour with a pastry blender until crumbly; add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.

Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; knead 4 or 5 times. Pat or roll dough into 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch round cutter, and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake at 450 F. for 8 to 10 minutes.
