Po-Man's Ribs and Rice

A meal that'll stick to your ribs

Ingredients:

  1. 2 to 3 lbs. short ribs
  2. 1 can (10 1/2-oz.) condensed French onion soup
  3. 1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms
  4. 1 cup beef bouillon
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce
  7. 1/2 cup water
  8. Hot cooked rice
Directions:

Brown short ribs in Dutch oven.

Combine remaining ingredients except rice, plus 1/2 cup water. Pour over ribs. Cover and simmer about 2-1/2 hours. Serve with hot cooked rice.
