Quick Chinese Pepper Steak

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb. round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
  2. 2 tablespoons salad oil
  3. 1 medium onion, sliced
  4. 1 medium green pepper, sliced
  5. 1 envelope Ehlers Au Jus Gravy Mix
  6. 3/4 cup water
  7. 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  8. 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  9. 3 cups hot cooked rice
Directions:

Cut meat in half lengthwise with a shape knife, then crosswise into slices. Cook meat, onion and pepper in skillet in hot oil until meat is browned. Stir in remaining ingredients except rice. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve over rice.
