Tomato and Mozzarella Caprese

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pound tomatoes, sliced 1/4- inch thick
  2. 1 ounce balsamic vinegar
  3. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, packed
  4. 12 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese
  5. 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Pepper to taste
  8. 2 Tablespoons olive oil
Directions:

On a large platter, arrange sliced tomatoes. Drizzle with vinegar. Sprinkle basil over tomatoes. Place sliced cheese over top of tomatoes. Sprinkle oregano, salt and pepper on cheese and drizzle with olive oil. Serve with breadsticks if desired.
