Buttery Almond Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup butter, softened
  2. 1 cup confectioners sugar, divided
  3. 2 cups flour
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  5. 3/4 cup chopped almonds
Directions:

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar. Add flour and vanilla; mix well. Stir in almonds.

Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 13-16 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown and cookies are set. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely. Roll cookies in remaining confectioners sugar.
