Asparagus Sesame Rolls

Ingredients:

  1. 12 fresh asparagus spears
  2. 12 slices bread, crusts removed
  3. 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  4. 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  5. 6 Tablespoons butter, melted
  6. 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

Trim asparagus spears to 6 inches in length.

Flatten bread with rolling pin.

In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and blue cheese until combined. Spread over one side of each slice of bread; top with an asparagus spear and roll up tightly. Roll in butter; place seam side down on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake at for 14 to 16 minutes or until bottom is lightly browned.
