Italian Grilled Cheese

Yield:
1 serving

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  2. 2 slices Italian bread
  3. 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  4. 2 slices tomato
  5. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  6. 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Directions:

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.

Place one slice, buttered side down in preheated skillet; top with half of the cheese.

Layer with tomato and remaining cheese; sprinkle with oregano and basil.

Top with remaining slice of bread, buttered side up. Cook over medium heat until golden on both sides.
