Chunky Slow Cooker Hawaiian Beef

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 pounds boneless beef sirloin, cut into 1- inch pieces
  2. 2 Tablespoons butter
  3. 1 can (20 ounce) pineapple tidbits, drained
  4. 1 green pepper, cut into 1- inch pieces
  5. 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  6. 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
  7. 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  8. 3 cups hot cooked rice
Directions:

Melt butter in a 12- inch skillet until sizzling; add beef pieces. Cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned. Remove from skillet.

Place beef in slow cooker; top with pineapple and green pepper. Pour barbecue sauce and salad dressing over mixture in slow cooker; sprinkle with oregano. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 7 hours, or until meat is tender.

Spoon beef over rice.
