Callaway Gardens' Southern Fried Chicken

Yield:
6-8 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 6 tablespoons seasoned salt
  3. 1/4 cup salt-free seasoning blend
  4. 2 tablespoons paprika
  5. 1 tablespoon pepper
  6. 2 (3-4 lb. each) broiler/fryer chickens, cut up
  7. oil for frying
Directions:

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine flour, salt, seasoning blend, paprika and pepper.

Add chicken, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat.

In a large skillet, heat 1/4 inch of oil on medium-high; fry chicken in batches for 18-20 minutes or until juices run clear, turning once.
