Slow Cooker Turkey with Wild Rice Stuffing

Yield:
8-10 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 4 cups cooked wild rice
  2. 3/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  3. 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  4. 1/3 cup almonds, slivered
  5. 2 medium unpeeled cooking apples, chopped
  6. 4-5 lbs. whole turkey breast, thawed if frozen
Directions:

Mix all ingredients except turkey. Place turkey in slow cooker. Place wild rice mixture around edges of turkey in cooker.

Cover and cook on low heat 8-9 hours or until turkey is no longer pink in center.
