Tangy Chicken

Yield:
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 2 to 2 -1/2 lbs. broiler-fryer pieces
  2. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  3. 1/2 cup Heinz 57 Sauce
  4. 1/2 cup water
Directions:

Brown chicken in skilllet in butter.

Combine Heinz 57 and water; pour over chicken. Cover; simmer, basting occasionally, 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is tender.

Remove cover last 10 minutes of cooking. Skim excess fat from sauce before serving. Spoon sauce over chicken.
