Coach's Banana Pudding

Ingredients:

  1. 6 cups milk
  2. 6 egg yolks
  3. 2 cups sugar
  4. 4 teaspoons vanilla
  5. 8 bananas, sliced and divided
  6. 1 container vanill wafers
Directions:

Combine milk, egg yolks and sugar in saucepan and stir over medium heat until mixture reaches a slow boil. Add vanilla and one fourth of the bananas and stir until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat.

In a casserole dish or trifle bowl, layer one half of the vanilla wafers, half the pudding and half the bananas. Repeat layers and chill well before serving.
