Picante Navy Beans

Ingredients:

  1. 1-1/2 cups dry navy beans
  2. 1 lb. diced ham
  3. 3 ounces picante sauce
  4. 2 cups onion, diced
  5. salt to taste
  6. pepper to taste
Directions:

Soak beans overnight. Mix together beans, ham, picante sauce, onion, salt and pepper; bring to a boil; reduce heat to gentle boil and cook for 4-6 hours or until beans are tender.
