Grilled Romaine

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup soy sauce
  2. 1 1/2 Tablespoons sesame oil
  3. 2 Tablespoons dry white wine
  4. 1 Tablespoon packed brown sugar
  5. 1 Tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  6. 3 small heads romaine lettuce, cut in half lengthwise
Directions:

In a blender or food processor, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, wine, brown sugar and ginger until well blended. Brush lettuce with marinade. Place lettuce, cut side down, on grill. Grill for 5-7 minutes, turning and brushing marinade halfway through cooking time.
