Chicken a la King

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  2. 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 cup chicken broth
  5. 1 cup milk
  6. 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  7. 1 can (4 oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  8. 1 jar (2 oz.) pimientos, drained and diced
  9. toast points
Directions:

In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour and salt until smooth. Add the broth and milk; bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in the chicken, mushrooms and pimientos; heat through. Serve over toast points.
