Rotini with Italian Sausage and Cannellini Beans

Yield:
Serves 8

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb. (16 oz.) rotini
  2. 5 links sweet Italian sausage
  3. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  4. 2 cans (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained
  5. 2-1/2 cups marinara sauce
  6. 1 can (15 oz.) cannellini beans, rinsed
  7. Italian seasoning
Directions:

Cook pasta according to directions on package.

Spray large skillet with non stick cooking spray and cook sausage links over medium heat until brown on all sides. Remove from pan and keep warm.

Remove excess grease from pan and saute garlic for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, beans and marinara sauce and heat through.

Slice sausage into bite size pieces and stir into mixture in pan. Heat 1 to 2 more minutes.

Place pasta on serving platter and pour sauce over top. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
