Easy Cherry Pudding

Yield:
Makes 9 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup flour
  4. 2 teaspoons baking powder
  5. 3/4 cup milk
  6. 1 can (1-lb.) Stokely's Finest Red Sour Pitted Cherries
  7. 1/2 cup sugar
Directions:

In 9-inch square pan, melt butter or margarine.

In bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder and milk. Mix until well blended. Pour over melted butter; do not stir. Pour undrained cherries over batter; do not stir. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over cherries; do not stir.

Bake at 325 F. for 1 hour.
