San Francisco Burgers

Ingredients:

  1. 2 large, ripe avocados, peeled and mashed
  2. 2 tablespoons A.1. Steak sauce
  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. 1/4 cup minced fresh onion
  5. 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
  6. 6 slices tomato
  7. 12 slices San Francisco sourdough bread, toasted
  8. BASIC A.1. Burgers
  9. 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (optional)
  11. 1/4 cup A.1. Steak Sauce
Directions:

Prepare Basic A.1. Hamburgers: In medium bowl, lightly combine all ingredients. Form 6 patties to fit bread shape of your choice. Broil, barbecue or pan fry until cooked as desired. Combine avocado, A.1. , salt, onion, and bacon. Serve hamburgers, topped with sauce and tomato, on toast.
