Candy-Coated Carrots

Yield:
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  2. 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  3. 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce
  4. 1/8 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  6. 6-8 carrots, sliced and cooked
Directions:

Place butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stir until combined. Add Tabasco and salt; mix well; add lemon juice. Remove from heat. Add hot, drained carrots and toss gently until coated evenly.
