Apple Yogurt Smoothie

This fresh and fruity combination of apple and orange blends with cool vanilla yogurt to make a refreshing afternoon boost.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups lowfat vanilla yogurt
  2. 1 medium Granny Smith apple, cored, peeled and diced
  3. 1/2 cup orange juice
  4. 2 Tablespoons honey
  5. 5 to 6 ice cubes
  6. Garnish:
  7. Sliced almonds
  8. Fresh mint
  9. Honey
Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour into 2 tall glasses.

Garnish with sliced almonds, fresh mint and dollop of honey, if desired.
