Sausage and Vegetable Stir-Fry

Yield:
5 -6 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  2. 1 cup red bell pepper strips
  3. 1 cup sliced carrots
  4. 3 cups broccoli florets
  5. 1 pkg. gourmet sausage, any variety, diagonally cut into 1/3-inch slices
  6. 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
  7. 1/2 cup prepared stir-fry sauce
  8. Hot cooked white or brown rice
Directions:

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pepper and carrots. Stir-fry until pepper beings to soften slightly. Add broccoli; stir-fry until broccoli begins to turn dark green. Add gourmet sausage, water chestnuts and stir-fry sauce. Increase heat to high; cook until sausage is heated through. Serve over rice.
